Row HQ

Rowing club software · 6 countries

New platform launching into a category owned by the sport's governing body, with a head term far too small to build a business on. The answer was 1,433 pages across six country locales, and 13 free calculators aimed at what rowers actually search every day.

// 02 - what I take on

The kind of work that earns its keep.

Five briefs I am set up to deliver. If yours is close to one of these, the first call is short and useful.

01

Technical audits

Crawl, render, indexation, Core Web Vitals. A prioritised fix list your dev team can ship.

02

Content systems

Briefs, internal linking, topic structure. Built so writers ship faster and the pages actually rank.

03

Site migrations

Redirect mapping, URL plans, post-launch monitoring. Move without losing the rankings you have earned.

04

GEO programmes

Get cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. The new SEO, before your competitors notice.

05

Internal AI workflows

One painful, repeated task. I build the AI that runs it - and leave a system the team can keep using.

// 03 - questions

Case-study FAQ.

Can I see more detailed numbers?
Yes - on a call. Some numbers and screenshots are under NDA, so I share the deeper figures (search console exports, traffic curves, revenue movement) once we know the brief is a fit.
Do you have references I can speak to?
Yes. After a first call I can introduce you to a past client whose engagement matches what you are trying to do. Easier than a written quote.
Why are some cases anonymised?
A few clients prefer the work stays unnamed - usually big enterprise or competitive verticals. The numbers are real, the screenshots are real, the names are held back. Happy to walk through them privately.
What is a typical project size?
Anything from a half-day audit (£225) to a multi-day technical or content engagement (from £1,800). Day rate is £450. For ongoing work, monthly retainers start from £1,800 - a fixed block of senior days each month.
How long until results show?
Technical and CRO fixes can move numbers in weeks. Content and authority work usually shows in months 2-6. I tell you up front which lever you are pulling.
// ready when you are

Bring the brief that needs a real number against it.

Audit findings, a stalled migration, a content plan that is not converting, or an AI workflow you want to build. The first reply focuses on what is realistic.
